History of Colloidal Gold
Over 5000 years ago Egyptians utilized gold in dentistry and ingested it for mental, bodily and spiritual purification. The ancients believed that gold had the ability to restore youth. The Alchemists of Alexandria developed a liquid gold elixir, they believed that gold had mystical qualities and it's presence in the body would fortify, re-juvenate and cure many diseases, whilst restoring youthfulness and perfect health. The full spectrum of the healing properties of gold are being re-discovered by modern physicians in today's mainstream medicine, having used injections of gold salts to relieve the pain of arthritis as well as the relief of addiction cravings. In the sixteenth century, the alchemist Paracelsus founded the 'Chemistry of Medicines' which was the forerunner of modern pharmacology. He developed formulations from metallic minerals, to support the rejuvenation of health. In 1857, Michael Faraday, inspired by Paracelsus work, created the first pure sample of colloidal gold. Faraday recognized that the colour was a reflection of the gold particles.
